Free annual event for the entire family held on the New Haven Green. The 2010 Tree Lighting is scheduled for Thursday, December 2 (rain date: Friday, December 3) from 4-8pm. Hosted by WTNH News Channel 8 Gil Simmons. Special guest apperances by Ronald McDonald, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and more! Free carousel and hayrides, holiday crafts, alpine safari (mechanical animals) rides, popcorn and giveaways.
